Office for National Statistics: Focus on Ethnicity & Identity

This is the definitive source of Government data on the UK population, but the trouble is the data is from 2001.  In this report the UK was 8% ethnic minority, however the current situation is believed to be 12%.

Ofcom - Communications market special report

This report from 2007 looks at ethnic minority groups and their usage of digital tv, internet and mobile telephony.

Warwick University: Profile of Black and Minority ethnic groups in the UK

This is a study of the 2001 Census stats by David Owen, from the University of Warwick.
